Today, I sat down to clean up a few old links in my blog. A few ended up in being quite a lot. I have after all been blogging since 2001, on a site that's been up since 2007…
I came across a lot of old references to a weird set of spam mails from 2003, when a spammer called Robert Todino, lost it, and thought that he was a time traveller from the future, stuck in our dark times. He was searching for spare parts to his time machine, and kept sending out e-mails asking for assistance. Together with a few others, I set out to find out more about these strange spam mails, and it became a quite fun series of blog posts (even though a few of them are just as confusing as the whole affair was to us).
But it is a part of internet history, and it feels good to be able to find all my old blog posts, and republish them nine years later. Thank you Internet Archive!
